Whole council up for election. One independent councillor and three Plaid Cymru councillors were elected unopposed.
Note:— The result for Prestatyn North division was corrected by an election petition after errors at the count led to Allan Pennington (C) being wrongly declared elected. The figures shown below for Pennington and Paul Penlington (Lab) are the corrected ones.
