Cheshire West and Chester
Whole council up for election. Initially this was a shadow unitary council which took over functions from Cheshire County Council, Chester City Council, Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council and Vale Royal Borough Council on 1 April 2009. The wards used are the same as the Cheshire County Council divisions with each ward electing three councillors.
